Tekt Industries in conjunction with Tektyte have developed a new method for creating test jigs which significantly reduce the time to develop and fabricate these test fixtures at a commericial scale.

The true innovation comes from an online portal and cloud 3D model generative design system that takes standard outputs from Altium and other ECAD software and synthesises a commercial test jig solution in minutes.

This process of design normally takes weeks to develop and fabricate but with the advent of new generative and AI technology that grow the solution on a secure server, the production of the jig takes an average of 72 hours and achieves these results using less material at a lower cost.

Test Fixtures have long been an investment that was prohibitively expensive for small-scale production and prototyping. With this innovation, we bring higher quality test and verification to smaller businesses and prototype builds through the convenience of a rapid online ordering system.

We will launch this Aussie manufacturing innovation globally in November on Crowdsupply to scale up the production but are already piloting for manufacturing jobs today with great success.
