Harvest Ant provides a digital platform for managing and tracking the harvest process, enhancing productivity and traceability from the field to the packhouse. Their system automates data collection, labor management, and payroll processes, while offering real-time insights and reducing food wastage.

When Peter Bail heard about the problem that occurred from farm supervisors using pen-and-paper to keep track of fruit & vegetable picker' performance and pay, he made ti his mission to create the solution.

In mid 2021, Peter engaged Tekt to deliver his vision for a wearable data collection system that could perform reliably in challenging agricultural environments and run all day without a hiccup. Tekt stood up to this challenge, delivering a fully integrated suit of services Industrial Design, Electronics, and Firmware, Software Development, Cloud Integration and Manufacturing.

Not only did Tekt deliver a fully resolved system, but we did it within four months to meet the Christmas harvest deadline.
